Another Area Cloud Startup: Freedom OSS

While one Philly-area cloud computing vendor was just acquired by a major corporation (Boomi by Dell), another interesting cloud startup may be emerging. Newtown-based Freedom OSS provides Integrated Cloud Service Management to companies with an emphasis on maintaing security and compliance. They are doing some interesting things; they are a partner with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and will be presenting with AWS CTO Werner Vogels in Chicago on November 16. One of the subjects covered there will be on how Lionsgate Entertainment migrated its SAP applications to a cloud enviornment using Freedom OSS' services.
