eResearch Technology Down 25%

As the Dow closed just above 7,000 today, major area tech stocks held steady, with the exception of eResearch Technology (now apparently renamed ERT by some branding genius). ERT was down 25% today, and was down as much as 30% earlier in the day, after reporting sharply slowing revenue growth and reduced guidance for 2009 yesterday. The Philadelphia company provides cardiology-related IT systems and services


Jerry Jones In Town

What was Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doing in Philly on Wednesday? Not trying to unload Terrell Owens back to the Eagles.
Jones, who is the Chairman of the league’s NFL Network committee, was here with Patriots owner Robert Kraft for a meeting at the Comcast Center, presumably regarding the ongoing negotiations over the future relationship between Comcast and the NFL Network. No word on whether the meeting was productive.
