Game 1

I've got to go with Hamels over Kazmir in Game1. Its not that Kazmir isn't a very good pitcher (God knows, the Mets might be playing right now if they hadn't traded him away). But he does sometimes lack command, and it takes him alot of pitches to get through an inning, which means sooner or later the Phillies will get to him or the bullpen. His slider has never fully come back since he had some minor arm problems.
As for Hamels, he is at the top of his game, and is approaching the level of greatness he has been destined for. He probably has the best changeup in the game; it is almost magical. But he s not just a soft tosser-he can throw pretty hard too.
But the guy Phillie fans have to watch out for is BJ Upton. He could determine the outcome of the entire series. And the Phillies really need to win behind Hamels because what comes after him is somewhat questionable.
Just my opinion.
