Philadelphia's First Round Capital has been busy, as usual. Three companies originally seeded by First Round completed significant follow-on rounds. Mint, a well-publicized Silicon Valley personal online financial management firm, received $12.1 million in a third round. Pikum, a UK based online game developer, raised about $5 million(its too late for me to mess with the pound sign) from Virgin USA. Gigya, a Palo Alto-based Widget platform, raised $9.5 Million. First Round particapated in all three current rounds.
33Across, a New York “stealth-mode company developing revolutionary technology to identify influential online users”, closed a seed funding round led by First Round.
