There had been rumors about a deal for VoiceStar for a couple of months, so this is not a surprise. I did think the price would be somewhat higher, though, since it was
positioned in such a hot market (local search) with a number of potentially interested buyers. But it appears that it is going to require several million dollars of further investment to get this business to scale, so that may have been one factor keeping the price down. I'm not convinced, though, that the "pay for call" market is going to take off like some people expect, at least in the short term.
