Motorika to receive $9.5 million in funding, Globes.com reports



Motorika, the developer of robotics for physical therapy whose US base is in Mount Laurel, will receive $9.5 million in new funding, Israel's Globes reports.
The money will come from a $150 million fund being raised by Migdal Capital Markets Ltd and Morgan Stanley, which in turn will be allocated to MedInvest, which will manage the investments.The funding appears to be in the form of loans rather than equity.

Sivox Technologies has relocated from Utah to West Chester (kind of like Shawn Bradley). The company provides interactive training systems for call centers. Sivox been around for a while, but its hard to tell how large it is. The company leased 4600 square feet, which isn't all that much, and I'm not sure if they still have operations elsewhere.

Experiences Recruiting Venture Capital - Part 1. (Informed Networker Blog)





Informed Networker is a less than one year-old startup based in Langhorne. Its website is sort of a cross between Digg and Slashdot, focusing on serious news for IT professionals, with a general emphasis on networking technologies.
Dave Mackey, a network engineer in his early 20's, started it in his "spare time" and only in the last couple of month has shifted to a full time effort. He has some limited staff support. He says the site is running at a rate of roughly 2500 plus unique visitors and 16,000 plus page views per month.
