Netflix’s cable box deal with Comcast won’t exempt it from data caps (Ars Technica)

Weaker Films May Hit Comcast Earnings, Hulu Losses Growing

Hulu losses may impact Comcast earnings, to be released Wednesday, though that can't be much. Hulu is investing to launch a broader OTT offering. Comcast, still a silent partner per consent degree linked to NBC acquisition, owns one third. The consent degree runs through early 2018, so its not too early to start thinking about what Comcast might do when its lifted.
